ACRYLIDONE LM is a high molecular weight, film-forming anionic terpolymer composed of vinylpyrrolidone and an acrylate backbone with a hydrophobic pendant C-12 chain. GANTREZ™ S-95 35% SOLUTION POLYMER is a methyl vinyl ether/maleic acid copolymer produced by hydrolysis of (polymethylvinylether/maleic anhydride) copolymer. The free acid forms are water-soluble, giving clear and tacky films. The polymers acts as highly effective chelating agents for iron, magnesium, zinc and calcium ions, and controls mineral scale. In automatic diswashing products, Gantrez S-95 polymer replaces phosphates resulting in spot -free surfaces. In laundry and fabric care products, the polymer acts as s a calcium encrustation inhibitor to improve color protection and reduce graying of fabrics.
