KLUCEL H CS has excellent film-forming properties and thickens non-aqueous systems and provide lubricious skin feel. Klucel™ CS Grade is a nonionic, water-soluble cellulose ether with a versatile combination of properties. It combines solubility in aqueous and polar organic solvents, thermoplasticity, and surface activity with the thickening and stabilizing properties of other water-soluble cellulose polymers. HPC films are flexible without plasticizers and non-tacky at high humidity.

ISP - SURFATHIX-N polymer by Ashland acts as a rheology modifier and surfactant. It is an acrylate-based technology with unique hydrophobic properties which brings clarity, thickening and suspension performance of particles and beads to cleansing products. It is compatible with a variety of ingredients commonly used in rinse off formulations including various surfactants, salts, and cationics. SurfaThix™ N polymer offers improved foam density (creamy lather), smoother dry-feel in finished formulations and can be easily rinsed-off. In hair care products, it offers improved dry comb in silicone containing shampoo, smooth feel on wet hair and enhanced detangling. Suggested for use in body and hand washes, facial cleansers and shampoo formulations.

SURFADONE™ LP-300 WETTING AGENT is sparingly soluble in water (0.002 weight percent) and soluble in most organic solvents. It is a low-foaming, nonionic surfactant with an HLB of 3 and has no critical micelle concentration (CMC). Like its lower homolog, Surfadone™ LP-300 wetting agent interacts with anionic surfactants, forming mixed micelles, which greatly enhances its solubility, resulting in a synergistic surface tension reduction and wetting enhancement. Appropriate combinations of Surfadone™ LP-300 wetting agent and anionic surfactants produce viscous solutions and gels.
